New York City: Water towers!

I'm back!! I had such a great time in NY. It was so inspirational for work and personal. I have so much to report back that I will be braking up my trip over the next few posts.

Today's post is what I saw in the sky...Water Towers!

I have been to NY before but I guessed I never noticed how many water towers there are. Water towers were first introduced to NY in the 1800s. It was required that all buildings higher than six stories be equipped with a rooftop water tower. Back in the day they were used as a way of water pressure. Now a days the water towers have become eye candy in the eye of the beholder! Also as of 2006, the neighborhood of Tribeca requires water towers on all buildings, whether or not they are being used.

Here are a few water towers I saw.
