Seeing Hearts

Denis is home! which means his Nikon D3S is home! Which also means I was able to try out the Bokeh effect. If you have forgotten what the Broken effect is, click here to find out. I made my little heart lens cap, waited for it to be dark out and snapped away. I took A LOT of test shots, adjusting the ISO and the aperture to get the hearts to appear.

Here are my two favourite shots. The first one was taken using Christmas lights hanging on our brick wall in the kitchen.


The second one was taken at an intersection near my house with traffic lights and stopped cars.

It's a lot of fun! Next time I will try using different shapes.
