Here are some highlights from the trip.
Drove our rental car to Santa Monica to walk the pier and do some outdoor shopping.
Had Christmas dinner at The Stinking Rose. Which was DEE-lish! Everything was made with garlic, even the ice cream had garlic in it! The food and atmosphere was great, but Denis and I were two stinky people!! HA!
There was nothing really open on Christmas day so Denis and I decided to head on over to Universal Studios, which turned out to be a lot of fun. The best part was splurging on buying the front of the line passes because it was PACKED!
Walked around the Grauman's Chinese Theatre and looked at all the footprints.
Ended our holiday by enjoying my very first IN-N-OUT burger.
Even though we had a blast I was kind of sad without my whole family around.

It looks like you had a ton of fun! I love walking around the Promenade in Santa Monica, there are some really great restaurants around there, and you made it AFTER all the gnarly construction on the mall :) I love when people visit the LA area and have so many great memories!
