For Father's Day I made my dad one of his favorites, Boston Cream Pie. (recipe here) I have never made this pie before. I don't really know why they even call it a pie, when clearly it's a cake! I'm not the biggest fan of custard, so I changed the recipe a little. After making the base of the cake, (which was super easy) I started making the custard next and again I'm not the biggest fan so instead I whipped up 1 cup of whipping cream. When all is whipped I folded in 1 vanilla flavor snack pack!
It made for a fun and de-lish dessert that everyone enjoyed!
