To celebrate pancake Tuesday...I made pancakes!
1 1/3 cups (330mL) flour
3 tsp (15mL) baking powder
1/2 tsp (7mL) salt
3 tbsp (30mL) sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 (310mL) cups milk
3 tbsp (30mL) melted butter
Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. In separate bowl, beat egg, add milk. Make well in centre of dry ingredients; slowly add egg-milk mixture. Add melted butter. Stir quickly till just mixed and batter is still lumpy in appearance. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls on hot griddle/frying pan with 5-7 chocolate chips. Cook till top side is bubbly, under-side golden brown - turn once. Heart shaped butter optional :P
